Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of web applications operated by Ludyem AS ("Ludyem", "we", "us"), a company registered in Norway. By creating an account or subscribing to one of our products, you agree to them.

1. The service

We provide web-based software on a subscription basis. Each product has its own website describing what it does and what it costs. We may add, change, or remove features over time; where a change materially reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you in advance by email.

2. Your account

You need an account to subscribe. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to hold an account.

3. Subscriptions and payment

• Subscriptions are billed in advance — monthly plans on the same day each month, annual plans on the same date each year.
• Prices are shown in full, including applicable tax, before you confirm a purchase.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• If a payment fails we will retry it and email you. If it continues to fail, access to paid features may be suspended until payment succeeds.

We may change prices. Existing subscribers will be given at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change takes effect, and may cancel before it applies.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Our refund policy is set out separately on the Refunds & Cancellation page and forms part of these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service to break the law, or to infringe anyone's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another customer's data;
• interfere with or place unreasonable load on the service;
• resell or redistribute the service without our written agreement;
• upload content that is unlawful, malicious, or that you do not have the right to upload.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will contact you first.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into the service. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process, and display it in order to run the service for you. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

7. Availability

We work to keep our products available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the service down for maintenance, and will try to do so at times likely to cause the least disruption.

8. Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by Norwegian law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights of consumers.

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may end this agreement by giving you 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms. If we end it without cause, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes will be handled by the Norwegian courts, with Oslo District Court as the agreed venue. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory law in your country of residence.
